Notifications and better Syncing for Businesses

 

Seems like only yesterday we released version 1! Thanks to the help of our lovely vendors and customers, we’ve identified and fixed a good few issues people have been having.

 

Fixes/Updates for Businesses:

  • Syncs now have a buffer to allow for fewer issues during peak hours
  • The lowest-priced variant now appears in the app menu when scrolling through
    • Now £0.00 shouldn’t appear
    • Useful for when variants have different prices
  • Upload limits now denoted on the iBe Dashboard to avoid confusion
  • NEW!: In-App notifications now available to view updates and announcements from the iBe Team
    • Also viewable from the iBe Dashboard

 

Fixes/Updates for Customers:

  • Distance from venues now works properly, based on the device’s location
  • NEW!: In-App notifications now available to view updates and announcements from the iBe Team
    • Also viewable from the iBe Dashboard
  • T&Cs page updated
  • The closest venue to your device should now appear at the top of the list when using the Find/Order tab
    • (Even though all our test locations are in the same place! Should come in use when more venues come on board)
  • App no longer reminds to you add a card when you’ve got a card registered
  • Fixed distance from venue not displaying when device location accuracy isn’t sufficient

 

We’ve also fixed a lot of things in the background to help the app run smoother, and completely redesigned the system for the iBe to add/remove points from people’s accounts. This makes doing the points transfers for the Milestone Group App far quicker, so we can concentrate on making the app even better!
